Changing View and Vision
CommentsI finally decided to change my blog’s look and fill. Thanks to dokuwiki engine blog was alive during last 3.5 years. Now I switched it to Radiant CMS. After some time of adaptation site is ready for launch.
Why Radiant? I was really impressed by Radian CMS after little playing with it. It’s simple, easy to change and on Rails :) I don’t want to spent a lot of time on maintenance of the site, but if I need to change something, it should be easy to implement. Radiant satisfied my needs. Need to say, that not all was going as I will, but there is no ideal things (but some of them are very close to ideal).
I also decided to change the content of the site. It’s main goal is to share and memorize my thoughts and represent infomation about me. Now the content will be posted only in English (or my version of that language :)) Sorry for Russian readers, but think that any developer can and should understand the English language. One more change is that commenting blog’s articles is possible using Disqus comments system.
I have no plans to repost all the old articles to a new blog, but intersting and popular ones will be reposted.
